academic Professional Membership Criteria

Professional Membership denotes the achievement of a prerequisite level of teaching and research in human resource management in its many forms and is a qualification that is seen as a highly regarded standard of professional attainment for Academic members.

It demonstrates that Academics have satisfied the Academic Grading Panel and the Institute that they have the particular qualifications and teaching experience in a tertiary environment as well as possessing an ongoing commitment to human resource professionalism.

Accreditation also provides a visual reminder to others that the member has contributed to the advancement of knowledge and research relevant to the New Zealand context which has enhanced the effectiveness of Human Resource Management in the business environment.

Listed below are the Academic Criteria and information on how to apply for Academic Professional Membership (MHRINZ).
