The Opportunity:

As the People & Leadership Shared Services Lead, you’ll be taking charge of core HR operations within our organisation. This involves managing talent acquisition activities, providing backup employment relations support, supervising payroll operations, leading remuneration and benefit services, and optimising our Workday HRIS. You’ll be pivotal in driving efficiency and enhancing stakeholder experience across our HR operations. 

This is a newly created role, reporting to the People & Leadership Manager and is a great opportunity for a senior advisor with a passion for process optimisation and service delivery wanting to take the next step. 

Location & Hours: Belron NZ Support Office (1 Carmont Place, Mount Wellington, Auckland 1060), 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

What we’re looking for

  • Comprehensive understanding of NZ employment law and confident in the management & support of everyday employment relations & performance cases.
  • Experience with outsourced payroll (Datacom), with a focus on compliance and NZ payroll legislation.
  • A passion for process improvement and comfortable with HRIS systems (workday)and implementing change.
  • Comfortable to be the operational lead for cyclical events eg Rem review
  • As a senior member of the team you will be the go-to for our administrator and co-ordinator.  Leaning on your strong analytical skills for problem solving support, advice and solutioning of complex HR issues
  • Good Talent acquisition skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, handle multiple priorities and navigate change effectively.
